Ghee is a type of clarified butter originating from
Indian sub-continent. It is a pure butterfat with a unique nutty flavor and high smoke point (485F).
During the cooking process, milk solids are removed from ghee which makes it easier for casein and lactose intolerant individuals to digest.
Ghee is best when used for roasting, stir-frying, baking, and drizzling on your favorite soups and stews.
At Pasture Ghee, we use organic butter and make ghee in small batch using a family recipe. We want everyone to enjoy the authentic tasting ghee we grew up eating in Nepal. Pasture Ghee naturally gluten-free, paleo friendly & keto certified.
